Agriculture and climate change

Factories, not farms, might be the first thing that comes to mind when many people think about greenhouse gas emissions. But I’ve heard more discussion lately about the impact of farming – particularly meat production and consumption – on climate change.

Agriculture interests are building opposition to President Obama’s climate bill, according to this story in the San Francisco Chronicle.
